Nail on the head. The problem is I *have* spent the last 10 years hearing these people expound on their ideas ad nauseam. And I find the ideas that black and brown people are inferior, trans people don’t exist, and children should suffer and die for lack of vaccines to be fucking abhorrent.

A friend was diagnosed with cancer while pregnant with twins. I was surprised to learn that she was able to have her prescribed chemo while pregnant. But once the babies were born they couldn’t drink her breast milk due to the drugs. Endless such medical examples.

Always tough if it’s your dominant hand… and the pain when laying down is normal. If you haven’t tried it already, prop your arm up on a pillow to stay comfortable. That sling cranks your shoulder forward and everything gets real tight while it’s healing.

Ortho PT here… generally I wean patients out of the sling a few hours at a time, as pain level allows.
