There’s a scene in Batman Returns where Penguin is giving a speech & Batman plays audio over the PA of Penguin insulting the people & saying what he really thinks of them. The crowd immediately turns on him and starts booing & getting mad. Crazy work of fiction, huh? Wish politics worked like that.

I never cared anything about who the pope was before Pope Francis. I’m not Catholic so it didn’t really seem to matter much. But I watched the day he was made pope. He seemed so genuine, so kind. RIP Pope Francis.

We have got to stop using qualifiers like “suggesting” or “may have lied under oath.” He did that. This is proof. There is no “suggestion” he “may have” lied. He lied.
