When it’s gone it’s not coming back, the loss will take longer than we can imagine to recover to some new normal. Something that looks like this. Graveyard with algae.

In 2013 there was these early phase bleaching photos and people were like it’s so pretty. Well this is what it looked like before things went seriously off the rails. It starts this way with hope.

9/ Zero dependencies, built by me. This will allow for maximum performance and flexibility to do what needs done. The limitations of api providers or services offered by those who resell are just too limited. It’s definitely real. Bit for bit matching PyTorch.

/5 I ask AI how this is economically viable.

It gaslights you didn’t explain well enough. Ohh so showing the exact code I could fix myself. What’s wrong with it and how to fix it is NOT EXPLAINED ENOUGH?

So it’s my fault? For not expending a book worth of instructions it will just ignore?

Major windstorm and damage.

This was interesting, note to self. Don’t live by a bunch of auxiliary buildings. They like to shed steel death blades.

The results are, the smoker works. How about that.

Expensive ass smoker taken down by a piece of shit. Incidentally the smoker works better than new. Making me think it was just fucked from the start.

Thanks pit boss.

That said if you own one? I do have the permanent fix.

Determined I figured out how to make gears and clone that one from two usable teeth.
February 10, 2025 at 5:26 AM
Making the gear was a little challenging as I had never made gears before let alone helical gears.

So you want to buy a pit boss grill? Check this out. I got one of the really nice pro ones. Well it has a stupid plastic gear. I 3D printed a replacement. That works for now. I’m having a steel one milled for permanent fix.

What do you do when you got a RWD car and can’t get solid hubs? You make your own solid hub.

Let’s see how this works.

After several hours of buffing. Mainly as I have to keep charging my die grinder. The score mark is nearly buffed out.

Hopefully this works.

Finally replaced the door in 2025 from 2018 damage lol.
January 31, 2025 at 3:09 AM
In 2018 I got hit by a Semi. Those who have followed me a while remember this I’m sure.

trained to touch high voltage.

Danger danger.

The battery heater fuse is blown so it won’t charge right currently. $9 part takes down the car. This will be the 5th time I’ve used steak knives to cut open this dc to dc converter.

I’ll just leave this here.

66% price reduction from 3 years ago on lithium.

Want to see what free supercharging for life looks like? Check 2013-2017 is missing so it’s not even remotely complete.

So I’m all like ok cool, I remove the fender liner, I get access. No big deal right? Gotta remove the 12v battery to take off the upper control arm. Here is a video of the insanity.

lol this weather is absurd.

7/ That this took 10 years for Tesla to fix, that has resulted in myself having 6 LDU swaps during warranty. Then once out of warranty even though it’s a glaring issue that destroys motors? No recall to fix it.

For a no maintenance long term investment. Tesla sure didn’t meet that mark.
