Also, I understand that the MP aspect of Eldritch 2 is still being kept a mystery but do you use a library for the net code? Seems like the options out there like ENet and Steam Sockets are decent but have lackluster documentation and such but I was thinking of trying it out for a prototype.

SC Chaos Theory pulled off save anywhere in coop but I can’t confirm if it’s able to be loaded again in a new session but since it’s just two players I’d imagine it’d be fine in that case.

My main asset tools have always been:
Gimp + Krita - textures and other art
Audacity - most sound
Blender - models and animation

It’s not a Halo like exactly but Metal Garden absolutely nailed its own New Mombassa like atmosphere in some parts with its level design. With the scope being massive mechanics wise, perhaps indies can at least bring back the vibes like this at least.
