Ah I was clearing out some pictures on my phone and found one of some graffiti I took and remembered a short idea I had from it so didn't want to forget it again! Got 1500 words of it done and a solid outline. The novel will still be there in the morning (probably better for a breather!)

Very true! Just on a bit of a roll but I have to get this idea down while it's there before it disappears into the ether.

This is true! Wish I could do both but the novel isn't going anywhere and this short won't be a very long one, probably only 1000 words so the first draft won't derail me for long!
