Dropped at that point being 1-2. Happy with how I played but the deck had to curve out perfectly to have a chance. Had to get Obsessive Pursuit, an actual bomb, out early and finesse my way to a win. #MTGxATLA

I had an AB•SO•LUTE blast playing #MTGxATLA last night. Bootown was lovely, staff and players were great. Raffle’s between rounds. Waterbending kit. 49 people. 6 rounds. Went 4-2. Losses were to the guy who came first (6-0) and third (5-1). My deck was gas.

I wonder if Orzhov with Appa/Avatar's Wrath might be worth exploring. Every airbended creature is free with Sibsig. Immediately recasting creatures to generate value and druid zombies while fueling an Awakening Hall or Raise the Past seems... good? Mana base is questionable. #MTGxATLA #MTGStandard

Lastly, on the fence about Zuko's Conviction over Lively Dirge. Most often, I'm getting Sephiroth and a Greedy Freebooter and the ability to get Sephiroth from the library is great. But the idea of one mana retrieval to get a Sephiroth, Solemn, Walker, or Vestige at instant speed is very appealing.

Ruinous Waterbending is interesting as an alternative to Harvester of Misery. No flexibility as targeted removal but offers -2/-2 at a lower rate and the waterbending life loss could replace the Funeral Room lost by replacing it with Foggy Swamp Visions. Will test these two together.

Raven Eagle is the one for which I have the most hope. It adds a flyer against Dimir, offers main deck graveyard hate similar to Graveyard Trespasser, a Clue to find or kickstart Sibsig, and a Blood Artist effect on card draw from Sephiroth, Solemn, Walker, or Vestige. Lots to like.

Foggy Swamp Visions is an alternative and earlier curve Awakening Hall. Need creatures to waterbend and I lose the Funeral Room Blood Artist effect and the reanimation being permanent. But very curious about single target reanimation and targeting opponent's graveyard in a Superior Spider-Man meta.
Foggy Swamp Visions. 1BB Sorcery. Reads: As an additional cost to cast this spell, waterbend X. Exile X target creature cards from graveyards. For each creature card exiled this way, create a token that’s a copy of it. At the beginning of your next end step, sacrifice those tokens.

The easiest new inclusion is Realm of Koh. This is free value in mono-black and the creatures can buy me time or be sacrificed to fuel some draw. Very low impact, but nice.
