Love these birds! Had a clutch of 7 this past summer and it was delightful watching them through my camera. I had to thwart an obnoxious pair of house sparrows who tried to take the box. Luckily, they all fledged!

Spice Bush caterpillar in my neighbor’s backyard. The butterfly is stunning. Planning to plant a few spice bushes (their host plant) in my backyard. Damn! Nature makes my heart skip a beat!

Found in the parking lot at Wild Birds Unlimited. They had planted 1 Whorled Milkweed plant and a monarch found it. Goes to show that if we all planted just a few native plants each, the impact would be enormous for pollinators.
