Ventured out to document what I assumed were old overhead catenary poles on the 23rd St I-70 overpass and I was too late!
But looking deeper, there was no trolley bus or tram service on 23rd in the 50s when I-70 was built. So what are these?

This one next to Operation Breakthrough is still there, but they are getting more and more rare! Where have you spotted them?

Tomorrow, the @kcstreetcar.org extension opens, just over 5000 days since a group of downtown advocates first petitioned for a Transportation Development District after years of advocacy before that.
What a wild journey it has been, and holy cow, it actually worked.

The Multistory gang gives its hot takes on the free bus debate the NYC has brought back into the zeitgeist. The dreamers and the pragmatists clash over whether fare-free makes sense.

There is a deep irony that Walmart money has built one of the most pleasant classic American small town downtowns with the money it made destroying them everywhere else in America.

The fact that the driver will experience no consequences for this is a policy failure that creates even more risk with @kcstreetcar.org expansion.
