Watch: A driver of an SUV on I-66E express lanes near the Beltway this morning noticed a Virginia State Police trooper handling a crash in the right lane a little too late. This caused a second collision. The trooper and the two people in the SUV all had minor injuries. VDOT video via safetyvid.org.

Watch: A driver of an SUV on I-66E express lanes near the Beltway this morning noticed a Virginia State Police trooper handling a crash in the right lane a little too late. This caused a second collision. The trooper and the two people in the SUV all had minor injuries. VDOT video via safetyvid.org.

Clarendon Tonight: They are starting early. Two calls already at Spider Kelly's. One for a "disorderly" person who was refusing to leave. More recently, a reported assault call for police and EMS. It apparently resolved itself without need for EMS or police. #Clarendon

Clarendon Update 2: An ambulance responding for another "sick person" in Clarendon. This one at Bar Bao. What's causing this epidemic? Covid? Monkeypox? Measles? I'm sure whatever it is, it's impossible to prevent and we're making the best use of our limited EMS resource. (more)
