Watch: A driver of an SUV on I-66E express lanes near the Beltway this morning noticed a Virginia State Police trooper handling a crash in the right lane a little too late. This caused a second collision. The trooper and the two people in the SUV all had minor injuries. VDOT video via safetyvid.org.

Clarendon Tonight Update: There was a fight on N. Highland off of Wilson with a request for EMS for an assault victim. EMS was also called for a very intoxicated woman down near Fairfax and Washington. A few minutes later, police were dealing with another drunk on the street. Fun times. #Clarendon
Clarendon Tonight: They are starting early. Two calls already at Spider Kelly's. One for a "disorderly" person who was refusing to leave. More recently, a reported assault call for police and EMS. It apparently resolved itself without need for EMS or police. #Clarendon
