With the first paper, the sentence that you highlighted raised red flags for me. Reliable scientific papers don’t say “proved”. We can’t “prove”, we can only gather evidence that “indicates” or “provides support for”. I looked up the journal and it’s been having some ethical issues.
A webpage on cell.com talking about the ethics of the Heliyon journal: “A recent audit of articles published in Heliyon conducted by Elsevier’s Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team uncovered concerns regarding practices that do not align with our policies, such as citation manipulation, compromised peer review, authorship irregularities, and tortured phrases.”

Another drawing/doodling thing I enjoy is taking the Chinese words for things and trying to turn them into a larger picture.

I don’t draw much, but a while ago, I drew some quick wanted some cartoons of my friend’s rats, including a wanted poster.

Rat noses sticking out of things are also the best.

I gave Daisy her flea and tick medicine and now she’s looking at me like I’ve betrayed her entire bloodline.

I’m not able to donate, but here’s the kitten I adopted almost years ago from my local shelter.

She’s my first cat. It was the day after her spay and I was too scared to take her cone off, so I gave her food on the back of a mug so she could reach it. 😂

She’ll be 6 on June 26th. ❤️

Why won’t you pet me, human?
