Mark, I'm wondering about ICE property seizures. It seems personal effects, including identification documents, aren't being returned to people upon release, or to families if they aren't. How do you vote if you can't replace them in time or ICE takes them while "monitoring" polling sites?

I certainly can't see the future, and I'm not sure what 2028 will look like. But I think it will take enough time for the Tangerine Palpatine to gain that kind of control, at least if people resist, instead of prematurely complying, that there's a chance for 2026.

We have work to do, and midterms to prepare for. We can work on community networks to support each other during tough times, but we also need to be loud. We need to compile data, so we can make the case about which policies, from which lawmakers, are helping folks, and which are harmful.
