Meme-ception! The frame is the oft-used meme format of two shots from #StarTrek #StarTrekTNG, starting with Commander Riker looking intently ahead, seated in a chair of the conference room. The next panel is the countershot of LaForge standing by a screen, explaining something. Traditionally, this is about a time loop or a meme that they could have experienced hundreds or thousands of times already. But on to the captions here. The top has Riker going, "You mean to tell me he built a shuttle?" The bottom has the answer, "Yes, in his spare time!" But the screen here has ANOTHER meme inserted (hence the reference to the meme loop) which shows at the top Tom Paris from #StarTrekVoyager superimposed before the Delta Flyer, with the caption, "I built the Delta Flyer in my spare time." Disheartening to see Tron: Ares rejected by audiences. It’s a stunning E-ticket ride — immersive, propulsive, & worth it for the NIN score alone. Disney misfired by skipping a rebootquel intro that re-established the 80s digital fantasy before entering the Grid.

Star Trek fans deserve at least 20-50 new episodes a year. That means either series with more episodes, or more series in active production.

Whenever Trek is idling or stops production, it is strictly business considerations, particularly about Paramount being sold again and again.
