Whilst a die is nice for a product does it need to be for play test. Im currently doing a thing with sort of custom dice but iterating with tokens in a bag. The same probably much quicker to switch things around for iterations.

This probably isn’t exactly what you mean but I’ve lost count of how many time i come last in my own playtest!

I love it when someone comes along and tried something very different. In my playtest group now we often asked people to play in particular ways to see what breaks.

I gave Sideeal Confluence ago. It was OK but very long. It like Century Spice Road as a trading game and way to many special rules i dont need to follow! #boardgames

Played Splendour. One of the games i lose online a lot. I really should look at why i do so badly in this game! Still a good gateway game. #boardgames

Learnt Wine Cellar. A very quick card drafting game which through up some interesting decisions. As with any bidding game sometimes your just going to get things you don’t want but shorty enough that it wasn’t an issue. #boardgames

I was taught Rebirth. I did enjoy this as decisions were interesting. Theres a rumour i only win games on end game bonus points. I cant possibly comment on this! #boardgames

Played Dice Settlers. Finally played a random tech setup as my fiends at games like this don’t need the intro game. I game last! #boardgames

Finally learnt Flip 7. One friend of mine didn’t like it and said it was just luck. After playing i disagree and really enjoyed this take on push your luck. Lots of interesting decisions. #boardgames
