It makes me sad to see the transphobic ways that the news media are addressing today's tragedy. The shooter was unquestionably mentally ill as well as cowardly, but for the sake of trans rights, proper pronouns need to be used. Crime is not an excuse to misgender someone. May the victims RIP.
