When you figure the cost of electricity and dns and all that it’d probably be cheaper to get a small VPS from a hosting provider at $5-10/mo.

It would be easy to install the software (like www.unrealircd.org ) and get the server running. The harder part would be making it available over a residential internet connection. You’d probably need to set up dynamic dns and would need port forwarding which may not be allowed by your isp.

The problem is that republicans are real, with actual power and votes and they actually like the ghouls. when you shit on the dems for not magicking this fact away, you are helping the republicans. idk where you’re from but the US isn’t the only country where ghouls have won elections.

It feels like something out of a novel. With the entire weight of the government bent on suppressing the truth, a diary written in secret code exposes everything. If a journalist can’t make a story out of that they’re not trying.

One thing Dan Carlin said a long time ago and which stuck with me is that history gets compressed. It’s easy to lump years and decades and centuries into a single historical bucket. So, looking back, it seems that historical things happened much quicker than they did for those living through them.
