Art can contribute so much to a game vibe and a setting. I feel like every components are important like that and create together an ecosystem that needs nurturing. From graphic designers, writers, editors, illustrators, reviewers to little brick n mortar zines shops. Publishing is like gardening.

That said artists are not machines, creativity burnout is a very real thing. Don’t treat them like image generators, give them space to be creative. Consider that illustrating a whole book take a lot of energy and that getting stuck on a piece is often what lead to burnout. 2/3
