I am a hobby chicken tender with about 21 chickens at the moment, and I love all of them. I can and will get excited about them, their eggs, or just anything that probably falls under "homesteading".
Seriously though, and all humorous complaints aside, I hope you guys have an easy time with the rest of the fix needed. The 8-9 hour downtime is doing a Concern over here, and not just for my reading habits.

Today, she has given the fruits of her healing labor. Not only is her comb red, big, and floppy, but she laid her first ever egg! Pardon the image, but she's still not able to be outside with the weather we've been having just yet.

Oh, these beauties are so smart! My little flock of piranhas know the sound of treats in a red solo cup and come running for the chance to get more treats than the others, if they can.
