made an announcement in my discord server about the change so I figured that I should share it here as well!

also this is just a username change, I'm not doing complete rebrands (though I am updating my oc design a bit!)

if anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer them :333

The announcement says as followed:

I suppose I should make an announcement about this - I'm changing my username from "oPixeel" to "starlikestylus"!

I honestly did not like the name "oPixeel" because it doesn't feel original, and doesn't show my actual self as much compared to my new username. Another reason why I don't like it is that the username is less searchable on the internet since it is overly complex, can be mixed in with other search results because of the term "pixel" in it, and being only one letter different from another person that is called "oPixel".

I picked this new username because I believe it aligns more to the newer me. The star-like part refers to how I like to use stars, sparkles, and bright colours in my work and the stylus part refers to how I mainly post about my art that I've made and how I'm trying to become a digital artist (mainly because digital artists are more popular and anatomy is easier to draw using it).

Furthermore, I picked "starlightstylus" as my new username as it has no search results (currently) which makes it easier for people to discover who I am on the internet.

In conclusion, I'm honestly surprised that I've kept it for so long, nearly 4 years; hopefully this will make me include watermarks into my work!
