Welcome to whatever this is (she/her)
Hilariously, I was talking about Outer Worlds 2, which is on me for not clarifying the acronym 😆

And ME *almost* cracks it but by game 3 I feel like I’m dodging Kaidan’s advances at literally every turn and it *really* tempts me to shoot him.

(the best of both worlds is probably Dragon Age Inquisition, which is where BioWare finally mostly found the balance and then promptly ceased to exist as anything resembling a storytelling entity. granted even Inquisition had Solas fucking things up)

like surely there's gotta be a middle ground between "everyone immediately drools over you and has a six pack" and "world is essentially sexless but you do get to team up with a lesbian ex-CIA grandma". surely there's a best of both worlds here.

Dishonored 1 was the first game I ever finished by myself and when I tell you I’d die for it

Thank you for slamming the breaks on the pacing and kicking me back out to the loading screen two routes in a row now, game. Much obliged. Eat shit with Worcestershire sauce.

Do I count as a “Clair Obscur fan page” if I’m constantly talking about my cat, named after the main character

Explains why the modern game I’ve played that’s most radically interesting with player choice, IMHO, is a visual novel (Hundred Line), and even that suffers from the “canon” route being one of the few to have a fully animated ending cutscene (so once you get it everything else feels half-assed).

I’m not even saying I agree with it just baffles me that everyone treats the cause like some mystery when it’s really not. Can nobody read the room anymore.
