This book was an absolutely fantastic read! A wonderful follow-up to book 1 of the Raiders of the Arcana series, book 2 takes us to Egypt where we see our favorite cast of characters embroiled & looking for the staff of Moses. The author does a fantastic job with her character development & plot.

When members of the press and political leaders in either party treat Trump’s imperialist talk as “bonkers” “crazy” or “just talk” you deny that real people live in these places Trump is threatening. Panama has been invaded by the U.S. before. None of this is a joke.
