Yeah, the word "liberal" appears to be doing a lot of heavy lifting in this post. (I'll note the follow up thread indicates the voting history of this "liberal" included two votes for Bernie & before that, Ron Paul support. So 🤷♂️)

- Dems did not say Mamdani is too radical for them. NY Dems *elected* him!

This post isn't incorrect, but when a journalist shares a story about Trump planning to change laws via EO, they should make it clear directly in the post (& headline, & article) that he's only *purporting* to make the change because he has no power to do so. Executive Orders are not laws.

So - Trump was, in fact, criminally prosecuted. For three separate sets of crimes, two federal and one NY state. He was actually *convicted* of 34 felonies in NY. The two federal prosecutions were stalled by Trump judges & SCOTUS justices & his reelection meant no prison sentence in NY. 🤷♂️
