She is done. This was a big step out of my comfort zone since I typically paint abstracts, but it needed to be painted. Even as I was finishing today, I was having an inner argument between perfectionism and letting go. Letting go finally prevailed and this is the result.

Maybe this becomes a painting. I am usually an abstract artist. Allowing painting to be the one area I let myself go. I need to let a lot more go these days. Maybe I start with painting what is on my mind.

Just putting this here as a reminder that all this noise is meaningless

A view from my shower this morning. And a reminder that all the noise that takes up our every waking hour in this modern society really means nothing. It is all a social construct for tiny minded people in power (I won’t call them leaders) to control tiny minded followers. Time to zoom out.
