Ok so with #NeoVermelia we've run into a problem where we just can't continue development without issue anymore, since we literally have no budget for the game aside from out of pocket cash. So for now we've decided to pivot onto a few smaller projects to raise some funds to develop Neo Vermelia

Been experimenting more with Godot and with 4.6 I'm actually considering if we should switch over to it over UE5. The only thing blocking that would be the time needed to redo everything and Godot not really having an accessible PS5 platform template.

Added controller prompts, though only for the PS at the moment using Unicode characters.

Currently reworking the item / inventory system, and maybe the status screen as well. After that's done I'm gonna finally implement the equipment screen and then work on the third fallows room, which should prolly be the final level to work on for what I have in mind for a full demo build.

If you're more powerful than the enemy you're about to encounter (Cumulative party attack) then you instakill them on the field. #Godot #GameDev #ProjectDreamweaver #StartdustTrail

added a basic save management system + the ability to have multiple slots. you can only save to whatever slot you loaded in though so to change save slots you'll have to restart the game.

Ok so for with our in house engine, I was thinking of possibly adding DX12 support later for when we port the engine to Xbox, but since we're using SDL3 for PC thats now redundant.

Not sure how long I want stardust trail to be, but prolly like 3 hours at least of story. I'm not sure if I will add much side content other than gear. Maybe if I feel I have enough time to after finishing the MSQ.
