What does being a charity trustee at Starcatchers mean? Being a charity trustee means you are fully responsible for how Starcatchers is run and what it does. It does not mean running the charity on a day to day basis and making operational decisions. Starcatchers staff does this. What will I be supporting Starcatchers to do as a board member? You will be helping Starcatchers staff to ensure consistent early access to the arts from birth. Supporting us in our pursuit to create and deliver creative experiences to babies and their grown-ups across Scotland in an accessible and sustainable way. What kind of commitment would I be making? Trustees are expected to attend Board meetings, which are held four times a year, currently on Tuesday evenings, usually in February, May, September and November. These are held online, with one in person meeting in Edinburgh (usually November). There is also an annual Board development day that Trustees are expected to attend. Travel, accommodation and childcare expenses are available for all meetings for those who live outwith Edinburgh, as well as support with access requirements and reasonable adjustments. How do I apply? Meet Ki Ki 🧶
She goes on holiday to Hailesland #EarlyYears to play every week. Earlier this year, artist Sam Jameson took part in a 10-week residency as Zen, capturing the voices of the wee ones. Building on from Sam's residency, artist Kerry Cleland will be continuing the work for another 10 weeks.

Happy Birthday to Perth Theatre 🎂🎈

This weekend marks Perth Theatre's 125th birthday. A beautiful venue with welcoming staff, Starcatchers and @dirliebane.bsky.social have loved rehearsing & touring there over the years. It only seemed fitting that Dot & Dash were there to join in the celebrations!
