“All right! I’ll be right back!” Calum ran to the counter and ordered their ice cream, soon returning with both bowls and two spoons. He hands Vivienne’s to her then takes a seat across from her.

“It looks very good. Truth be told, I’ve never been here before.”

As it wasn’t often he had interested company. “Would you like to order or shall I?”

Oh, he has many stories, if she’s willing to listen. Traveling with the Doctor has given him that luxury.

And he’s happy that she’s happy, too.

“Mmm, I think I’ll just have that for now. See how I feel after the ice cream.” Calum smiled at her and gave a small giggle. He was almost giddy—

“Knockerbockerglory? What a name!” Calum giggled. “I think I’ll try that, it sounds nice.” He could eat just about anything, but peach and raspberry seemed particularly appealing for some reason.”

“Are you getting strawberry?” He asked with a tilt of the head

“Oh, looks like I’ll have to try them all!” As he said this, he clapped gently as to not draw any unwanted attention to himself.

“Are you getting strawberry?” He asked as he led her into the shop. “What do you recommend?”

“The pleasures all mine,” calum gives a toothy grin as he starts to walk. “Do they have chocolate sauce? I have to have chocolate sauce!”

Calum was naturally friendly. Probably another reason for the friend of the universe title

“That’s understandable. I have quite the sweet tooth myself, so I understand.” Calum’s smile was just as radiant as he held out his arm for her to take. “Shall we? My name is Calum, by the way.”

He immediately perked up. “Oh I would love to! I love strawberry!” Calum grinned and tilted his head. “Were you already planning on going there, or is this a spur of the moment thing?” Color him curious.

The smile is returned, although he’s still fidgeting. “Exactly. That’s the thought process I had about it.” When asked if he was okay, Calum shrugged. “Aye. I suppose I’ve got a bit of anxiety today.”
