But why not have policies preventing the cops from intervening on ICE's behalf? ICE agents are causing this public disorder; it should be on them, as supposed enforcers of law and order, to deal with it.

And our governor, Maura Healey, just ducks her head and says "this is legal." Regardless of whether or not it's legal - I have *grave* doubts - it's horrific. It shocks the conscience. It's excessive force by federal agents against innocent people. I get that our cops aren't going to arrest ICE.
