I am literally sitting here, reading Karl Popper’s (an immigrant in 🇬🇧, btw) warning that the whole point of democracy was to prevent a tyrant from causing grave harm, while Donald Trump is playing roulette with the world economy and Putin is trying to re-invent the Russian empire.
