My local cafe Rio is fascinating for this because they have two separate cafeteria lines: one for walk-ins, and one for the drive thru and online orders. There are always at 3x the staff working the drive-thru/online cafeteria lines compared to the walk in line

There is not a single cafeteria line style restaurant (mod pizza, chipotle, cafe zupas, etc…) that is not a terrible ordering experience because of the cafeteria line
