This summer, 13 undergraduates completed a 10-week chemistry research fellowship. The program concluded with a poster session where fellows shared their discoveries and experiences. Many thanks to the Chem Department faculty, mentors, and Prof. Matt Kanan for leading the program.

Chemistry meets nature at Jasper Ridge!  Stanford Chem staff explored diverse geologic zones and learned how plants use chemistry—from photosynthesis to releasing VOCs that act as scented defenses when animals nibble on their leaves. 🌿🔬🧪
