judges ordered the admin to rehire who have not been. New laws don’t fix an enforcement problem.

SNAP benefits and back pay are already mandated by law. Trump is breaking the law. This is an enforcement issue. Dems gained nothing on these because it was already the law. And no one knows if the admin will obey the law. There are still Fed employees they fired earlier this year who /1

to existing laws, nothing new or better. They have been illegally withholding SNAP, firing federal workers and threatening to not pay what workers are supposed to receive. How is that a win? And who is to say the administration won’t continue to break the law? federalnewsnetwork.com/congress/202...
Tentative Senate deal reaffirms back pay, reverses RIFs for federal employees

Lawrence O’Donnell spewed absolute disinformation last night. There is no increase in SNAP benefits. They are resumed at current funding levels. And federal workers are supposed to receive back pay as a matter law. So what Dems got is another attempt to make the Trump administration act according /1

Great article Ben. Thanks for sharing the gift link. I hope more people begin to understand the impact cutting federally funded research will have on the economy and our standard of living. Has anyone looked at what could happen to the economy if hit with the one two punch of cuts and tariffs?

These are farming dependent counties. I was surprised there weren’t more in my state. But that’s the criteria they reported on for the article.

Does everyone know? It can be a risky assumption. Reporters opted not to cover a lot about Trump prior to and during his 1st admin because it wasn’t “news.” We found out after the election younger voters who too young to pay attention during his first term were not aware of important facts.
