There is a correction to the article. It’s very important to call elected officials and raise hell. There is no need for DOGE to have this info for their work. I’m even going to call the Whitehouse too.

This is a major conflict of interest. The NYT barely addresses this fact. You can’t tackle “waste, fraud and abuse” by letting Elon remake the federal government into a subsidiary of Elon Musk Inc.

I don’t believe they can do anything that would lead to an arrest. It’s going to take a challenge to the Executive Order because DOGE is going to claim they have the right to be doing what they are doing.

If true, did Elon just violate another law? The EEOC is a federal agency subject to federal records management. Deleting could be a violation of 44 USC 3106 Unlawful removal, destruction of records. www.archives.gov/about/laws/f...

Where does it even give him authority to do anything with funding or payments? I kind it isn’t stopping Elon but the EO doesn’t seem to give him the ability too do what he’s doing.
