Definitely one of the useful points in its corner is just the lack of modern big 3D platformers, since the only two we've really gotten lately are like, Donkey Kong Bananza and Astro Bot, and most indie attempts at the genre tend to cash in on N64/PSX nostalgia rather than shoot for something modern

FF13 is a very funny game in how I love and hate every aspect of that game, other than the music which is non-stop bangers. Characters? Amazing and terrible. Story, fun and miserable. Gameplay? Pretty cool and annoying. It's such a fascinating game if it weren't also frustrating.

Yeah I dropped the game for a few months from how much I hated it. Thankfully Cosmo Canyon is looking much friendlier unless the last 25% is horrendous.
