Not just Mamdani, but when you compare the 2025 candidates on this issue to the 2021 candidates, the mean and median positions are just so much better than the last cycle.

I think the only potential issue with that strategy is if you rank Mamdani 5th, and Cuomo gets to 50%+ before the 5th round. I don’t think that’s likely, but it underscores how key it is not to rank Cuomo at all.
