Last night I got home from work and @dweinman.bsky.social had the Padres game on. “Hey look, bases loaded!” he said. I sat down with the baby and watched Manny’s at-bat. Grand slam!!!! After, he admitted that had happened 30 mins ago but he rewound it and waited to play it the second I got home 🥹

Handed the baby off to Grandpa and Nana at a family party and escaped to have a drink and relax. A few minutes later Grandpa came to find us: “No don’t get up, everything’s fine, we just wanted to know how many crackers he’s allowed to have? Because he won’t stop eating them?”

I worked at a private school’s after school care program for a minute and there was a kid whose dietary notes said “no processed food.” His mom got mad when I gave him raisins for snack once.
