Last night House republicans voted for significant cuts to Medicaid, Pell Grants and SNAP. It doesn’t seem like they are focused on the needs of working families. #dontcutmymedicaid

Vouchers have been a catastrophic failure—everywhere. They drain funding from neighborhood public schools, where 90% of students learn, and leave behind those who need support the most. If Trump were serious about helping kids, he'd invest in smaller class sizes, educator pay, and more resources.

Creating chaos is not leadership. The unprecedented, illegal, and reckless decision by the Trump administration to freeze federal funding will hurt students, communities, and public schools—especially students in lower-income communities who benefit most from federal funding.
