Being told "well my friends think python is sort of a newbie language, like a baby language" told me so much about the person saying it that all I could do was grit my teeth and smile.

What's always funny to me is how people rag on tumblr as a useless site for millennials but you go on Facebook and Pinterest and most of the funniest posts are from #tumblr, just repackaged as new content.

I never was the sort to thrive at video based apps like #tiktok. The thought of being a theatre kid or someone spouting hilarious/philosophical meanings at a phone, after all these years, was enough to give me anxiety and return me to Pinterest solitude.

You learn a lot when. You let someone talk #policy by just letting them go for it. You can find out just what they're willing to let happen for the sake of their beliefs, and sometimes what it will take to make them break from those beliefs. #thatwasalongphonecall #saturdaynight

I've taken this long extended break from publishing anything. My heart really wasn't in sharing again. But I do have #writing finished and one must tear open the old sutures once in a while. I am split in the middle. Yes, I like sharing. But ugh, the process. But yay share? BUT UGH the process

I left Twitter long ago. I can't even recall a reason beyond I just didn't see the need for it. Now I use Bluesky for work but continuing to avoid Twitter just took one look, over a year ago, to realize it was in a death roll. And like a crocodile it doesn't care who it hurts.
