I keep saying this just what it feels like to live in 1930s Germany, but this seems worse at the moment because we have the historical example of the holocaust within the last century that should have taught us better and yet we are opening up concentration camps all over the country.

Not sure why retail places are advertising teacher gifts right now? Do people really have the disposable income to do teacher gifts at the start of school when we have fees and supplies and new sports equipment to buy? We barely can do gift cards at the end of the year at this point.

It’s been almost 9 months since I have spoken to my mom. She now refuses to speak to me because I am filled with hate, she says. MAGA has destroyed so many families. I don’t regret waking up and waking away from the church, but truly had no idea I would be walking away from my parents, too.
