Our (now former) CMO was super hyped about an AI-powered tool that used "synthetic data" to replace the eye tracking surveys that they've traditionally had to pay to conduct to test marketing materials. It was a surreal presentation.

I've been enjoying feeeed, the UI is clean and it's got widgets and stuff that are handy.

I've kind of gone the "touch grass" route and my rss feed comprised of of tech blogs and extremely select Bluesky accounts are basically it for me. It's curbed my misanthropic streak a bit. Not entirely, but I feel more sane this way.

I largely bailed on Bluesky after the election because I couldn't handle these people. Threads is worse. I wanted to keep an eye on tech topics, though, so I compromised by adding lists of Bluesky accounts I actually wanted to read to an rss feed app.

I work in a creative niche inside the tech industry, so my sample is highly biased

There's a lot of nostalgia for the Frutiger Aero era from the Gen Z cohorts I work with, so I've seen lots of positive takes on the orange phone. I personally like that they're going with some actual colors and want to see more 🤷🏻‍♀️
