Here’s something I finished recently. A 9 card mtg AP commission from a client that wanted me to depict the story of Hans Eriksson and his sister Saffi being attacked by a Lhurgoyf

Why does Tor do this? Not only is this a stock image but it’s ugly and meaningless with nothing design that says nothing for a major author for a hardcover book that is expensive.

I sort of hate drawing so I try and prep multiple drawings at once to get the most painful task out of the way. I have 3 done now so I’ll be painting for a long while and I’m very excited for that
