As far as I can see on social media, some of his supporters are already parroting his line. The split is real.

The positive effect of this could be that other countries start decoupling themselves from the US influence and the gripping power of its companies and tech giants. It was the US that "raped" ( sorry, I just use Trump's vocab here) other countries. Let's hope this will slowly stop now.

Every time I read the story of great sites of the past civilizations, a question crosses my mind:
Why were they abandoned? It's like when big cities we have more suddenly empty of human beings.
Could the same happen to our great cities and civilisations like NYC, London, Rome etc?

I hope this is only a one-off attack. The best outcome would be if the Iranian people take the opportunity to build a new regime, that works towards the prosperity of its people and make peace with all its neighbours. Iranians would be happy and Israel and the Arab states too.
