I go down the rabbit holes. I stay off youtube but I find blogs and try to learn where the theorists get their info. Then I try to find more sources and follow the crazy. It's usually fun and it's on the same level as reading short horror stories or fantasy novels for others.

Average price of just the house call is $110. Average repair price is $450 on top.

Just ordered the motor. The motor is mounted outside the damper/duct.

At worst, nothing gets better and I just have a new useless motor and a bare mount/wires outside my furnace. At best, I save about 6 hundo.

Our house has 2 HVAC zones. Main floor is much warmer than thermostat setting, second floor is accurate. Pretty sure one or both damper motors aren't doing their job, main floor is heating even with thermo off.

Found the replacement motors online for $40.

Do I dare try for my HVAC repair patch?

I know we're near the end of this late-stage capitalist dystopia but this article is one of the most casual conversations about targeted murder I've ever read. Just causually slipping in boggled government assassinations as common knowledge.

I'm still processing the overwhelming collective response to this. I think it's going to be a "we didn't start the fire" lyric type of historical event.
