I'm not sure what I think of the collective response to today's assassination (that's what it was).
I don't think I've ever experienced this before aside from news of war criminals and terrorist deaths. Nearly every social media platform has the same sentiment.

Preparing my ADD for tomorrow. Planning to ride a bunch of tiny serotonin highs with every checkbox while also not forgetting to put out the gravy or jello or cranberry sauce like in recent years.

Pulled from the freezer 48 hours ago to start thawing in the fridge.
Still hard as rock so giving it an hour or two timeout at room temp.

Found water by the water heater this am. A steady drip from the pressure relief valve. Turned water off, drained. Tried to refill but valve wouldn't reseat. Called a pro, estimate for a $65 home visit + $150 repair, or a trip to the store for a $25 valve and borrowed a 60-year-old pipe wrench.

What started as a new year's resolution to try a new resolution every month, turned into extending the first month's challenge into 2 months, which then turned into almost 11 months.
