It’s like if you’re coughing and you go to the doctor’s to see if you have COVID, but they say “no you’re just coughing.” Coughing is a general symptom common to many conditions, much like anxiety or depression. A more thorough diagnostic test is needed.

Anxiety and depression are both frequent features and comorbid conditions of ADHD and Autism. You need to hear that you’re not displaying signs of autism, not that you’re only displaying signs of anxiety.

When I was a kid “skeet” was immortalized by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz. It wasn’t so much a real word as it was the energy of hyping something up. The raw essence of jubilation, if you will. It also meant ejaculate, I think. I think it’s fitting that we’re all using it here to come together.

This can be seen as criticism of those whose decision-making is guided by hedonism/aestheticism, compared to those who are guided by ethical principles, which, of course, can also vary considerably and evolve over time. So we do what we think is best with what we know right now. What else can we do?
