An image in the blog also confirms two points of speculation: the new Warrior spec will be the Paragon, and the new Necro spec will be the RItualist—or, at least, the new specs are directly based on those two classes.

A small, but very important, update is also coming to Homesteads. The decoration area limit is being doubled to 400, which should significantly increase what you can do with homesteads.

Been getting back into Hollow Knight to wrap up the achievements I'm missing. I'm too rusty to go for the pantheons, so instead I tried the speedrunning cheevos.
There's one for clearing in 10h, and one for 5h. I managed to get both first try!

Will probably do one last run of 2-3 this year before SAB ends, get a head start on The Storm Wizard.

As you use the brick furnace, certain fuels will cause it to slowly fill up with remnants—either piles of ash or charcoal, depending on the fuels you use. You can extract these remnants by interacting with the furnace with a shovel.
