Can't really agree with this opinion about Anaesthesia standards in the third world. It's a system of severe systemic institutional neglect where surgeons get everything because they r the more immediate "money earners" for a hospital management (from Ward's Anaesthetic Equipment)

All these new block techniques and standards simply don't make sense anymore. In India in the vast majority of areas, surgeons get all sorts of instruments while us Anaesthesiologists are forced to subsist on Boyle's apparatuses and expired endotracheal tubes outside of a few elite centres.
