Have they found the source of the alleged fentanyl?

Is it enough distraction to get people to stop talking about the content of Epstein files, the DOJ illegal refusal to release the Epstein files, and/or Trump's inability to talk coherently, stand up without help, or stay awake when sitting, and/or his repeated cognitive tests? Or ACA subsidies?

Was this strike OK'd by US oil cos? I doubt that. Shareholders will not approve of spending billions to make "money for the country" by producing low value crude in VZ. They want light crude to make company profits, not for the government. Trump just wants fame (& distraction from health & Epstein).

Trump wants power and he wants to be historic and he wants people to ignore the Epstein thing.
He thinks US can take oil from VZ because int'l oil firms were forced to accept terms when Chavez nationalized VZ petroleum.
Few refineries in US-friendly places now can process the heavy oil from VZ.

Agree that Trump's "strategy" has been to get Putin to stop fighting, not to get Russia to respect national boundaries. Trump does not care about disputes that are internal to Europe, but somehow he owes personal fealty to Putin, therefore Ukraine's resistance makes a problem. NATO does too.

As others have noted, this piece is based on an interview that Trump chose to do with a reporter expected to be sympathetic to an aging politician who could destroy a reporter's career if he wanted.
So read it, but remember that you are only getting the details that Trump wanted to share in public.

Why would people from successful thriving societies uproot their families to move to the U.S.? Looking for safer places is the basis of almost all migration, human and non.

Other presidents played golf too, but they mostly played at public courses or ones on military bases. Also, they were willing to be seen actually playing and with whom.
Biden challenged Trump to a game, provided that both walked the course and carried their own clubs. Trump declined.

Thank you. Keep the momentum. Press the issues. Focus the pressure.

Is that a car from the 1950s? I know the campaign promise of the GOP was to Take America Back, but do we have to go back to the 50s?
I live in Texas. I don't want to go back to before air conditioning. And I love having neighbors from many places around the world. I want to live in the real world.

As I said, I don't believe the projected 4.3% increase is credible, unless they are talking about GDP in inflated dollars (which is not the usual measure). It is possible production in the US of goods and services has declined, as many US companies are reducing product size. Trump #s are funny.
December 29, 2025 at 9:39 PM
GDP for the US is measured as the value of goods and services produced inside the US, so I'm not sure how Trump's tariffs factor into GDP.
They certainly do push up the amount of money spent in the US. Do you think the govt counts money spent by US consumers on tariffs for foreign products as GDP?

Another clear reason why Europeans are really worried about the US honoring its NATO commitments.
Trump and his associates and electors only care about preserving and expanding personal wealth. Alliances for them are transactional and casual.

So that means that DHS rep Tricia McLaughlin will be arrested and punished for the violation? Isn't it past time for DHS and DOJ employees to be held strictly to the law?
December 29, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Real GDP growth of 4.3% is not credible unless the government reverses some current policies, like on immigration, which has severely impacted construction.
That rate of growth would trigger interest rate hikes too, which the present administration has opposed.
(As if Trump pays his debts anyway.)

He's been at M A Lago for a week. He hasn't gone to the golf club in last 5 days.
He looks weak, his hands and face are heavily made up, his comments are wandering. He's not well, he's edgy about bad redactions of Epstein files, he's old, he's afraid of Putin and change, & he's sick. Nothing new.

I can think of several reasons for Jared's presence. He may be expected to stand in for Trump on a Ukraine visit. The Saudis may have asked him to gain information for them. He may have business investments that would be impacted by peace in Ukraine. Or Trump just pulled him to even up the sides.

This is a message from a man with no empathy and no moral compass. He is a tool being used by evil and should be replaced.

If he has clearly violated one of the two offenses that explicitly merit impeachment, then Congress, or any representative of it regardless of party, should move to impeach him now, or they have failed in their own responsibilities.
Easy to point out, but who'll do it?
If they don't act, fire them.

This story is incomplete. We assume that you took the broom and its burden from your son. What did you tell him? Did he tell you where he found it? Were others involved? Did it change the Christmas schedule for your family? Are there other toys in your son's box that used to be alive? Tell us more.

In most urban areas this is called trash pick-up, and it happens every week, but you have to put the junk out in the right place for unwanted trash.

Would it speed up the additional new redactions if Bondi and Blanche are held in contempt in a federal facility and incomunicado while the million new files are purged, er redacted? Or can patriotic volunteers assist with the redactions to get the job done?

Twas intended as a compliment to you twice, for your personal publication achievement and for getting the science community to recognize a "social science" book as an outstanding science book. It means that the content has been noted as serious scientific research by the STEM crowd.
