Starmer is well regarded globally but not in the UK. Wonder if it's anything to do with our press and social media?

I used to see Ferrari on This Morning (before that turned to complete trash) doing their 'Are you for or against! No nuance!' slot. He used to look a bit sheepish afterwards. Now he seems to fully embrace that shtick. Maybe he learnt to live with the cognitive dissonance for the cash.

Dammit. I wanted a Labour/Green coalition at the election. I want Labour to be stronger on climate issues. I am tempted to go Green but then I see you guys saying Starmer is talking "drivel" when I am largely happy with his direction of travel and I stay put.

Is the mad behaviour of the US administration simply a distraction from the dementia? If they all behave the same as Trump it will somehow normalise his fluctuating mental state and no one will try to have him removed from office?

I agree with @urbaneprofessor.bsky.social – I use my Instantpot for slow cooked dishes, rice, biryani, steaming veg, pressure cooking all sorts of things. Plus it makes a litre of superb Greek yoghurt for me every week.

Every Saturday is Small Business Shopping for is. Veg box from the smallholder, fish from the fishmonger, meat, milk and eggs direct from the farm. Cook up a storm for the week, bake some biscuits, a couple of loaves and maybe a cake.
