Morris’s play style is causing a lot of unsupported direct balls. It will take time to adjust. Most of the offense over the last few months came from Ferreira dropping in and playmaking. Sounders need to do both things. More practice, I guess. However, it seems a little late in the year.

I absolutely don’t blame the defense. On the second goal, Sounders were committed forward. It was narrow at the back. Simple switches by LA in transition were disorganizing the defense. It happened multiple times, but Schmetzer kept pushing. They had no cover from the midfield. BTW, Miami rotated.

Situationally at the end, the LA was gifting it. Instead of killing off the game Schmetz kept pressing for another goal. It was was dumb.
