Honestly I associate putting the opponents over primarily with MVP on commentary, since he seems to do it all the time on commentary

Like there’s enough situations where “plant yourself still and parry forever” doesn’t work that the parry isn’t really desperately reductive? But since theres no feedback for good movement, people won’t realize when they’re doing it, so it doesn’t feel like you are?

It’s so interesting to see how much personal taste gets in because I agree with basically everything in the thread even if a lot of the base preferences (I like sandbox because I like tinkering around with a lot of nonsense) are super at odds
